Oxfordshire Geology Trust (formerly Oxfordshire RIGS Group) was launched in 2000. We are a non-profit making organisation with two main aims: To protect and conserve geological sites and our landscape, and to raise awareness of the county's rich and varied Earth Heritage and geology. Continued

Launch of our new Rock Detectives club for 6 – 12 year olds!

Our first session in taking place at The Court Hill Centre, near Wantage,

Activities will be organised by staff & volunteers from the OGT. This club is funded by a grant
from the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our second session will
take place on 15/02/12 during the half-term holidays.

From 10am – 12:30pm. Activities to include an introduction to geology, fossil cast making, fossil
handling & identification, stenciling and a geology & landscape trail in the grounds of the Centre.
Cost = £3.50 per child including a free Rock Detectives Kit Bag. Booking essential. Please call
